Took buckets to Malham and Highside. |

2nd |
A dreadful performance, only rescued by the most bizarre own goal in the last couple of minutes to earn a draw we barely deserved. |
|
3rd |
Slumped.

Injected another pen of calves for pneumonia. We also did all the animals inside at home with " Virbamec Super" which treats fluke, worms, and lice. |

Fitted a new 36 inch fan in the silo building to attempt to move a bit of air which might help with the pneumonia. |
|
7th |
David Thomas from Pately Bridge came to collect his two heifers that have been with Calum Dubh of Gilden Vale. |
|
8th |
Jeremy from Tithebarn brought some buckets that are a bit like 'Strepsils' and are supposed to help with the pneumonia. |
|
9th |
David Hargreaves brought 34 sheep for a few weeks.
A rather mundane performance lit up by a brilliant goal from Mustapha Carayol as we progressed to the 4th round of the FA Cup. |

Didn't do much. |
|
11th |
Cleaned the buildings out at Wenningber and put bales out up there as well.
A really sad day as my all time hero David Bowie sadly died... He was a genius and we will never see the like of him again. |

The calves seem to a lot healthier now. They're eating better and look a lot brighter. |
|

Steve Burnett came to collect his cow and calf that have been with Uallach Ruadh 2nd of Pollock. Weaned the last two calves of 2015 and put them inside. Took the two cows onto Highside. |

14th |
Did the VAT. Went to Skipton to collect some beef from Stanforth's.

Put bales in the buildings at Wenningber. Then went to Highside to give them some feed buckets. It was nice when I set off but the snow was a pain when I was up there. Karen Vernon came from Macclesfield to collect her cow and calf that have been with Calum Dubh of Gilden Vale. Moved David Hargreaves' 34 sheep from the Sports Field up to Lanrigs, a two minute job that took half an hour because sheep are so stupid and brainless. Why anybody wants to keep them I will never know. |

A rush to get done early as James and I ventured to Sheffield Wednesday where, after a very good first half performance, five minutes of madness costs us the game. With no thanks to the bumbling referee who obviously doesn't know the rules as he awards, then disallows a perfectly good goal for us because Wednesday took forever to make a substitution. |

Just did the routine stuff. |
|

The first half at Leeds was like watching paint dry slowly. We improved a bit in the second half and managed a slender victory. After the game we went to the North of England Highland Cattle Breeders Club AGM. |
|
24th |
Had to get Tom's cow in again as the calf wouldn't suck unless you put the teat in its mouth, then it suckled fine. |
|
25th |
Took a steer to CCM Skipton for slaughter for the shop. I also took one for Stephen Hopley from Keasden. |
|
26th |
Let Tom's cow and calf out as the calf seems to be suckling on its own now. Mark Thompson brought me three Highland X bulls that he's bought for me. Disbudded two young calves and moved them and their mothers into the crofts next to the house. I also put a ring feeder in for them with a big bale of silage. |
|
27th |
Clipped the X cows and dosed them with "Virbamec super". Fixed the old door into the shippen, it really wants mending with a new one... Replaced a broken cubicle in the big building. |
|
28th |
Went over to Filey to bring back Maclaren of Hellifield who has been attending to Ian Coates cows. |
