Ingredients :-
675g/1 1/2lb Highland beef mince
1 small red pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped
1-2 small red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
30ml / 2tbsp freshly chopped Basil
5-10ml/1-2tsp Ground Cummin
Salt and pepper
Instructions :-
1. Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
2. Using damp hands, shape into six 9cm (3 1/2in) evenly sized burgers.
Place on a large baking tray and put in the fridge for at least
20 minutes.
3. Cook the burgers under a pre-heated grill for 6 to 8 minutes
on each side turning occasionally until cooked through and the meat
juices run clear. Serve in burger baps with chunky chips and salad.
